We commemorate with you this significant date which symbolizes the courage, unity and firm determination of the Djiboutian people in their struggle for self-determination and national sovereignty.
We reiterate our deep admiration for the example of dignity and commitment to peace and development that Djibouti represents in the African region and in the world, as well as our will to continue strengthening the bonds of friendship, cooperation and solidarity between our peoples and governments.
