Querida Hermana, Querido Hermano,
Presidenta y Primer Ministro:
En este día memorable, nos unimos al Hermano Pueblo y Gobierno de la India para conmemorar con alegría y profundo respeto el 156º Aniversario del Nacimiento de Mahatma Gandhi, aquel 2 de Octubre de 1869, en Porbandar, donde nació un hombre cuyo espíritu y ejemplo marcaron para siempre la Historia de la Humanidad.
Celebramos con ustedes la luminosa Vida del Padre de la India, quien nos enseñó que la Verdad es más fuerte que la falsedad, que la Dignidad vence a la opresión. Mahatma Gandhi sigue siendo un Faro para todos los que creen en la Justicia, la Libertad y la Autodeterminación de los Pueblos, y en su honor también celebramos el Día Internacional de la No Violencia en todo el Mundo.
Desde nuestra Nicaragua, Siempre Bendita y Siempre Libre, nos sentimos unidos a la India en ese inmenso Legado de Paz, Fraternidad y Solidaridad que nos dejó el Mahatma. Sus enseñanzas nos llaman a seguir construyendo un Mundo donde prevalezcan el Respeto, la Cooperación y la Esperanza compartida.
En esta gloriosa ocasión, reiteramos nuestros mejores Deseos de Prosperidad y Bienestar al Pueblo Indio, confiados en que la Luz de Mahatma Gandhi seguirá iluminando los caminos de las generaciones presentes y futuras.

On this memorable day, we join the brotherly People and Government of India in commemorating with joy and deep respect the 156th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, that October 2nd, 1869, in Porbandar, where a man was born whose spirit and example forever marked the history of humanity.
We celebrate with you the luminous life of the Father of India, who taught us that truth is stronger than falsehood that dignity overcomes oppression. Mahatma Gandhi remains a beacon for all who believe in justice, freedom, and the self-determination of peoples, and in his honor we also celebrate International Day of Non-Violence around the world.
From our Nicaragua, Always Blessed and Always Free, we feel united with India in that immense legacy of peace, fraternity, and solidarity that the Mahatma bequeathed to us. His teachings call us to continue building a world where respect, cooperation, and shared hope prevail.
On this glorious occasion, we reiterate our best wishes for prosperity and well-being to the Indian People, confident that the light of Mahatma Gandhi will continue to illuminate the paths of present and future generations.
