El Ministerio de Salud (MINSA), brindó un informe sobre la situación del coronavirus – COVID-19 en Nicaragua al 19 de abril del 2022.
A continuación, informe semanal íntegro del Ministerio de Salud:
NOTA DE PRENSA
MINISTERIO DEL PODER CIUDADANO PARA LA SALUD
Durante la presente semana que comprende del 12 al 19 de Abril 2022, hemos atendido y dado Seguimiento Responsable y Cuidadoso a 49 nicaragüenses con COVID-19 confirmados.
De la misma forma 30 personas de las que estaban en Seguimiento Responsable y Cuidadoso han cumplido con el período establecido.
Desde el inicio de la pandemia hasta el día de hoy, hemos atendido y dado Seguimiento Responsable y Cuidadoso a 14,371 personas. Continuamos trabajando para dar atención a las familias nicaragüenses.
Las personas que han estado en Seguimiento Responsable y Cuidadoso por COVID-19, con frecuencia han tenido padecimientos asociados como: hipertensión arterial, diabetes mellitus, obesidad, enfermedades cardíacas, síndrome de inmunodeficiencia, insuficiencia renal crónica, antecedentes de accidente cerebro vasculares, tuberculosis pulmonar y enfermedades pulmonares crónicas.
En la presente semana hubo 1 fallecido atribuible a COVID 19 y se presentaron otros fallecimientos en personas que han estado en seguimiento, debido a tromboembolismo pulmonar, diabetes mellitus, infarto agudo de miocardio, crisis hipertensivas y neumonías bacterianas.
Hasta la fecha hemos logrado la recuperación de 14,089 nicaragüenses.

Coronavirus Situation as of 19th April 2022, 10:00 a.m. Weekly Report.
During the current week, from 12th to 19th April of 2022, we have attended and provided Responsible and Careful Care to 49 Nicaraguans confirmed to be COVID-19 positive.
Likewise, 30 persons who were under Responsible and Careful Care have complied with the established period.
From the start of the Pandemic until today, we have attended and provided Responsible and Careful Care to 14,371 persons. We continue working to provide care to the Nicaraguan families.
People who have been receiving Responsible and Careful Care for COVID-19, have frequently had pre-existing conditions such as: arterial hypertension, diabetes mellitus, obesity, heart diseases, immunodeficiency syndrome, chronic kidney failure, a history of cerebrovascular disease, pulmonary tuberculosis and chronic pulmonary diseases.
In the current week, there was 1 death attributable to COVID-19 and other deaths which occurred in people who have been under responsible care, due to pulmonary thromboembolism, diabetes mellitus, acute myocardial infarction, hypertensive crises and bacterial pneumonia.
To date, we have attained the recovery of 14,089 Nicaraguans.
