Presidenta y Primer Ministro:
En nombre del Pueblo y Gobierno de Reconciliación y Unidad Nacional de la República de Nicaragua, y en nuestro propio nombre, nos enorgullece transmitir nuestras más Fraternas Felicitaciones a Usted, a Su Gobierno y al Hermano Pueblo de la República de India, en la honorable ocasión de conmemorar el 78 Aniversario de la Independencia, el próximo 15 de Agosto.
En esta fecha histórica, que hace honor a la Heroica Lucha por su Libertad frente al Colonialismo británico, rendimos Homenaje al Gran Mahatma Gandhi, Padre de la Patria y Símbolo Universal de la No Violencia, cuyo Legado de Justicia y Paz continúa inspirando a todos los Pueblos del Mundo.
Reiteramos desde nuestra Nicaragua Bendita y Siempre Libre, nuestra firme voluntad de fortalecer y ampliar los Lazos de Amistad, Solidaridad y Cooperación que unen a nuestras Naciones.

On behalf of the People and Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of the Republic of Nicaragua, and on our own behalf, we are proud to convey our most Fraternal Congratulations to You, Your Government, and the Brotherly people of the Republic of India on the honorable occasion of commemorating the 78th Anniversary of Independence on August 15.
On this historic date, which honors the heroic struggle for freedom from British colonialism, we pay tribute to the Great Mahatma Gandhi, Father of the Nation and universal symbol of nonviolence, whose legacy of justice and peace continues to inspire all peoples of the world.
From our Blessed and Ever-Free Nicaragua, we reiterate our firm commitment to strengthening and expanding the bonds of friendship, solidarity, and cooperation that unite our nations.
