Como ha dicho nuestro Comandante Daniel, el Mundo, la Comunidad, la Familia Humana exige Paz, no sólo queremos Paz, exigimos Paz.
En este recorrido que él ha hecho, cada vez que le habla a nuestro Pueblo, a las Familias nicaragüenses, hace un recorrido a lo largo de la Historia donde se muestra, se demuestra, que el Pueblo nicaragüense, a lo largo de todos los Tiempos, hemos luchado por la Paz, hemos luchado por Respeto, hemos luchado por Convivencia Armoniosa, hemos luchado por nuestros Derechos, el Derecho a vivir con Dignidad. Y en estos Tiempos tan difíciles que vivimos como Comunidad Humana, ese Clamor por la Paz cobra vigencia superior.
Y para trabajar Tod@s Junt@s por la Paz, tenemos también que trabajar en los Organismos Internacionales. Todos estos días hemos hablado con nuestros Compañeros en Naciones Unidas de la necesidad de impulsar, reimpulsar, porque el primero que alzó esta campaña fue nuestro Canciller, el Padre Miguel d´Escoto; impulsar, reimpulsar la refundación de Naciones Unidas. Un Organismo que fue fundado hace cuántos años ya, 45, 46, del Siglo pasado, casi un Siglo.
El Mundo ha cambiado tanto que requiere, demanda, otro Organismo. Un Organismo que responda a los requerimientos de estos Tiempos, a las urgencias de estos Tiempos, a las demandas de estos Tiempos, y sobre todo que respete, y donde se respete el Derecho de las Naciones a ser consideradas en términos de Igualdad, en tamaño por supuesto que no, pero ser iguales de acuerdo al Derecho Internacional.
Todos hemos visto que, como decía nuestro Comandante Daniel, el mejor ejemplo de que no se respeta el Derecho Internacional han sido las votaciones anuales para que cese el bloqueo a Cuba, mayoritaria, por excelencia, y ahí estamos. Y cómo se ha luchado también en Naciones Unidas para que se respete el Derecho de las Familias, del Pueblo Palestino. Y ahí estamos y hemos visto la destrucción.
Tener un Organismo que defienda nuestros Derechos, que respete nuestros Derechos, donde tengamos Voz, todos en pie de igualdad, és básico y fundamental para la convivencia pacífica de las Naciones.
Y cuando nuestro Comandante Daniel hablaba también de cómo hemos trabajado por la Reconciliación, reconocer el Legado del Cardenal Miguel, básico, y reconocer también la fuerza de nuestro Pueblo, que se ha manifestado todo el tiempo por la Reconciliación y la Paz. Porque és Tod@s Junt@s que Vamos Adelante, lo decimos todos los días.
Y aquellos que sueñan con odios, que ya están vencidos, aquellos que sueñan con vencimientos, que están vencidos… Cuando decimos vencimiento, creen que pueden forjar derrotas para una parte del Pueblo nicaragüense. Qué perdidos ! Qué desquicio ! Qué locura ! Qué terrible ! Imagínense cómo dormirá esa gente que todos los días piensa en hacerle daño, hacerle mal a su propio Pueblo. Creo que no pueden dormir en Paz, creo que no pueden dormir tranquilos.
Piensen, piensen, y pensemos tod@s, en unirnos, unir nuestras voces en el plano internacional, unirnos al Clamor de los Pueblos del Mundo que queremos Respeto, Paz. Respeto, Paz, Caminos de Avances, luchar para vencer la Pobreza, esa és la meta de tod@s : Derrotar la Pobreza ! No estar llenándose la cabeza de miserias, de mezquindades, de odio. Qué terrible ! Como decíamos, imposible que duerman en Paz.
Pero bueno, luchar contra la Pobreza, luchar para fortalecer la Unión, la Cohesión, luchar para ser Dignos de considerarnos Cristian@s. Porque Jesucristo nos manda a amar y a respetar, amarnos y respetarnos unos a otros. No nos manda a odiarnos, no nos manda a matarnos y no nos manda Supremacías, ni en los Países pequeños, ni en los Países grandes, ni en las Potencias contra los Países pequeños. Nos mandata Amor y Paz. Y es por eso que debemos seguir trabajando, iluminados, con Fé.
Y en estos días que tenemos tantas Celebraciones, honramos a nuestro Infinito, Inmenso, Padre y Maestro Mágico, Rubén Darío, y pensemos por qué en un País pequeño y de la Pobreza surgen Genios como Rubén Darío. De la Poesía, de la Identidad, del realce de lo que somos, de dónde venimos y hacia dónde vamos.
Y Genios, Espíritus Superiores, Darío, Sandino, Zeledón, todo este Universo de Héroes que tiene esta Patria Bendita. Y en estos Tiempos del Mundo el Heroísmo está en saber luchar contra la Pobreza, vencer la Pobreza y exigir Paz, Paz y Bien para todos los Pueblos del Mundo.
Me uno al abrazo que nuestro Comandante Daniel está enviando al querido Pueblo de Bolívar, que tanto amó nuestro General de Hombres y Mujeres Libres; de Chávez, que tanto supo enseñar Solidaridad y Cariño, Cristiano, Socialista, Solidario; de Nicolás, de Cilia, a quienes mandamos todo nuestro Amor; de Delcy, que está haciendo tanto esfuerzo para conservar sus Derechos y preservar la Paz en la Unión, esa Unión que nos fortalece a tod@s.
Nos unimos desde esta Nicaragua Bendita, Patria Bendita y Libre, con la Fuerza de nuestros Maestros, de nuestros Espíritus, de nuestro Leonel. Esa Fuerza Espiritual de los Héroes, de los Muchachos de San José de las Mulas, que entregaron su Vida para que hoy seamos como somos : Fuertes, Libres, Amorosos, Misericordiosos, y sobre todo, desde el Amor, que és Misericordia, que és Solidaridad, Victoriosos.

Graduation of Police Cadets

As our Comandante Daniel has said, the World, the Community, the Human Family demands Peace. We not only want Peace, we demand Peace.
In this review which he has made, for every time he speaks to our People, to Nicaragua’s families, he takes us on a journey through history where one can see shown, demonstrated, that Nicaragua’s People, throughout all times, have fought for Peace, we have fought for Respect, we have fought for Harmonious Coexistence, we have fought for our Rights, the Right to live with Dignity. And in these difficult times we are living through as a human community, that Cry for Peace becomes even more valid.
But for us All to work together for Peace, we also have to work in international organizations. Throughout these last few days we have discussed with our compañeros and compañeras at the United Nations about the need to boost, to re-boost, because the first person who proposed this campaign was our Chancellor, Father Miguel dEscoto; to boost and re-boost the refounding of the United Nations. An organization that was founded so many years ago now, 1945, 1946, in the last century, almost a century ago.
The world has changed so much that it requires and demands, another body. An organization to meet to the
needs of these times and address the urgencies of these times, the demands of these times, one above all of Respect where the Right of Nations to be considered as equals is respected, of course not in size, but to be equal as regards international law.
We have all seen how, as our Comandante Daniel noted, the best example of lack of respect for international law has been the annual vote to end the blockade on Cuba, always with a majority par excellence, and here we are still. And how too the United Nations has also fought for the rights of the families of the Palestinian People, to be respected. And here we are still and we have all seen the destruction.
Having an organization that defends our Rights, one that respects our Rights, where we all have a Voice, all on an equal footing, is basic and fundamental for the peaceful coexistence of Nations.
And when our Comandante Daniel also talked about how we have worked for Reconciliation, recognizing the legacy of Cardinal Miguel is fundamental, and also recognizing the strength of our People, who have shown themselves all the time committed to Reconciliation and Peace. Because that means All of Us Going Onward Together, as we say every day.
And those who dream of hatred, who have already been defeated, those who dream of defeating others, who themselves are the defeated… When on the subject of defeat, they still think they can forge defeats against one part of the Nicaraguan people. How lost they are! What confusion! How insane! How terrible! Imagine how those people go to sleep thinking and spend every day thinking about how to hurt and do harm to their own People. I can’t imagine they sleep peacefully, I think they cannot possibly sleep peacefully.
Let us think always and keep thinking, let us all think about uniting, uniting our voices at the international level, joining the Cry of the Peoples of the World who want Respect and Peace. Respect and Peace for Paths of Progress, striving to overcome Poverty, which is the goal of everyone: To defeat Poverty! Not to be filling their minds with misery, meanness and hatred. How terrible! As we said, it is impossible for them to sleep in peace.
But instead, let us fight against Poverty, fight to strengthen unity and cohesion, fight to be worthy of considering ourselves Christians. Because Jesus Christ commands us to show love and respect, to love and respect each other. He does not command us to hate each other, he does not send us to kill each other and he sent no one Supremacy, either in small countries, or in large countries, nor for the great powers against smaller countries. He sends us Love and Peace. And that is why we must continue to work, enlightened, with Faith.
And in these days when we have so very many celebrations, we honor our infinite, immense, magical Father and Teacher, Rubén Darío, and let us think about why in a small impoverished country a genius like Rubén Darío can arise. A genius of Poetry, of Identity, of enhancing who we are, where we come from and where we are going.
And they are geniuses, superior Spirits, Darío, Sandino, Zeledón, this whole Universe of Heroes of our Blessed Patriotic Nation. And in these times in the World, Heroism lies in knowing how to fight Poverty, conquer Poverty and how to demand Peace, Peace and Goodness, for all the Peoples of the World.
I join in the embrace that our Comandante Daniel is sending to the beloved People of Bolívar, who loved our General of Free Men and Women so much; the people of Chávez, who knew how to teach Solidarity and Affection, Christian, Socialist and Solidarity Inspired; the People of Nicolás, of Cilia, to whom we send all our Love; of Delcy, who is making so much effort to preserve their Rights and preserve Peace in union, the union that strengthens us all.
We unite from this Blessed Nicaragua, Blessed and Free Patriotic Nation, with the Strength of our Teachers, of our Spirits, of our Leonel. The Spiritual Strength of those Heroes, of the Young Men of San José de las Mulas, who gave their Lives so that today we can be as we are: Strong, Free, Loving, Compassionate but above all, out of Love, which is Compassion, which is Solidarity, always Victorious.
