El Gobierno Nicaragua rechazó la aprobación de la iniciativa de ley Nica Act, porque es irracional, ofensiva y lesiva a los derechos humanos de los nicaragüenses y violenta la Soberanía de nuestro país.
En un comunicado de prensa, leído por la Compañera Rosario Murillo, Vicepresidenta de la República, el Gobierno de Nicaragua expresa su posición frente a la aprobación de esta iniciativa de ley.

NOTA DE PRENSA
El Congreso de los Estados Unidos procedió hoy con la aprobación de la Iniciativa de Ley NICA-ACT. El año pasado en plena Campaña Electoral Presidencial, el Congreso de los Estados Unidos discutió y aprobó la misma Iniciativa de Ley.
El Gobierno de Reconciliación y Unidad Nacional, ha expresado nuestra Posición frente a esta acción irracional, ofensiva, y lesiva de los Derechos Humanos de l@s nicaragüenses, en distintos momentos y con la misma firmeza : Consideramos esta Iniciativa de Ley como una violación a la Soberanía de Nicaragua, y una negación de todos los Procesos Políticos, Sociales, Culturales, y Económicos, que en nuestra Patria, Bendita, Unida y Siempre Libre, se desarrollan, para mejorar la Vida de tod@s, y promover Alegría, Armonía y Bienestar.
El Gobierno de Reconciliación y Unidad Nacional reitera nuestra Convicción de encontrarnos frente a Posiciones retrogradas, injerencistas, e irrespetuosas, de parte de ciertos Congresistas norteamericanos que todavía no superan conflictividad e intereses ajenos a la Voluntad y la Tranquilidad de los Pueblos.
Una vez más reiteramos, ante el Pueblo de Nicaragua, ante las Familias nicaragüenses, ante la Juventud, y ante la Comunidad In-ternacional, nuestro invariable Compromiso con la Democracia y los Caminos de Armonía, Encuentro, Entendimiento, Seguridad y Prosperidad, que, en Unión y Esperanza, en Fé y Confianza, recorremos tod@s l@s nicaragüenses, con la Gracia y de la Mano de Dios.

The United States Congress proceeded today with the approval of the NICA-ACT Law Ini-tiative. Last year in the midst of the Presidential Electoral Campaign, the Unit-ed States Congress discussed and approved the same Law Initiative.
The Government of Reconciliation and Na-tional Unity has expressed at different times, and with the same firmness, our po-sition regarding this irrational, offen-sive and harmful action to Nicaraguans’ Human Rights: We consider this Law Initia-tive a violation to the Sovereignty of Nicaragua, and a denial of all Political,
Social, Cultural, and Economic Processes that are developed to improve the Life of everyone, and to promote Joy, Harmony and Wellbeing in our Blessed, United and For-ever Free Homeland.The Government of Reconciliation and Na-tional Unity reiterates our Conviction against these retrograde, interfering, and disrespectful positions on the part of certain United States Members of Congress, who have not yet overcome conflictive po-sitions and interests against the Will and the Tranquility of all Peoples.
Once again, we reiterate to the Nicaraguan People, to the Nicaraguan Families, to the Youth, and to the International Community, our invariable Commitment to Democracy and the Paths of Harmony, Encounter, Under-standing, Security and Prosperity, which all Nicaraguans follow, in Unity and Hope, in Faith and Trust, with the Grace, and at the Hand of God.
