MENSAJE DEL GOBIERNO DE RECONCILIACIÓN Y UNIDAD NACIONAL EN LA III REUNIÓN DE MINISTROS DE RELACIONES EXTERIORES DE LA CELAC – UNIÓN EUROPEA

- Señoras Ministras y Ministros de Relaciones Exteriores de los Países Miembros de la CELAC y de la Unión Europea;
Un Nuevo Orden Mundial Multipolar, Justo, Equitativo, Respetuoso de la Soberanía y la Independencia de los Estados, está naciendo, dejando atrás el Poder Unipolar. Nicaragua apoya el Multilateralismo y el Nuevo Orden Multipolar, superando el unilateralismo. En esa dirección fortalecemos la Paz, la Seguridad, Estabilidad y Relaciones amistosas, solidarias y de respeto a la Independencia y Soberanía de todos los Estados, Transmitiendo a Ustedes los cordiales saludos del Compañero Presidente Comandante Daniel Ortega Saavedra y la Compañera Vicepresidenta Rosario Murillo.
El lema de este encuentro entre Cancilleres de América Latina y el Caribe y la Unión Europea: “Renovando la Asociación Birregional para Fortalecer la Paz y la Unidad” con el propósito de relanzar y recuperar el intercambio y la cooperación entre nuestras regiones, debe sustentarse en principios y valores que son inherentes a los Pueblos.
Debemos repetir hasta que haya comprensión y conciencia que ya no somos colonias, sino Naciones Libres y Soberanas, somos personas libres, no esclavos, capaces de trazar nuestras propias Políticas, Estrategias y Caminos de Paz, Prosperidad y Buen Vivir, sin injerencias, agresiones, ni intervenciones de potencias hegemónicas. Ese es el fundamento para un intercambio fructífero entre nuestras regiones. Una cooperación respetuosa de la Autodeterminación de los Pueblos es el núcleo medular de las buenas relaciones de amistad y cooperación solidaria entre Pueblos y Estados Soberanos de ambas Regiones. Por lo tanto, las prácticas colonialistas ya no tienen cabida, y llamamos a la Unión Europea a exigir el fin de la ocupación del territorio argentino de Las Malvinas que sigue ocupando el Imperio británico por la fuerza de las armas.
El Desarrollo y Progreso de nuestros Países y Pueblos es obstaculizado, por la pobreza, la crisis económica y ambiental, y por la crisis energética, crisis inflacionaria y alimentaria global, causadas por las medidas coercitivas, unilaterales impuestas contra la Federación Rusa; China, República Popular Democrática de Corea, Cuba, Venezuela, Irán, Siria, Nicaragua y otros países hermanos, medidas que afectan a los Estados, impidiéndonos alcanzar nuestras metas de lucha contra la pobreza, obstruyendo el Derecho al Desarrollo de nuestros Pueblos y a los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible de la Agenda 2030. Se debe poner fin a esas medidas unilaterales arbitrarias.
Latinoamérica y el Caribe es una Región altamente vulnerable ante los efectos del Cambio Climático, particularmente los pequeños Estados Insulares en desarrollo y las zonas costeras bajas del Caribe y Centroamérica, por lo que es urgente y necesario que los Países Desarrollados cumplan con sus compromisos para enfrentar el Cambio Climático en la próxima COP27, que se celebrará del 6 al 18 de Noviembre en Egipto.
Siguen teniendo vigencia y Nicaragua mantiene las 4 declaraciones de cara a la COP27 sobre: 1. Justicia Climática con Reparaciones, 2. La urgencia de preservar los Bosques, 3. Pérdidas y Daños como mecanismo de indemnización para Países altamente vulnerables, y 4. El reconocimiento de Centroamérica y el Caribe como una Región vulnerable a los impactos del Cambio Climático.
Ese es el gran reto que tiene la Humanidad, ese es el gran reto que tenemos para alcanzar la Paz, para derrotar el hambre y la pobreza, para defender los Principios de Justicia, de Libertad. Para salvar la Vida resulta imprescindible salvar al Planeta.

Ladies and Gentlemen Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Member Countries of CELAC and the European Union;
A New Multipolar World Order, Just, Equitable, Respectful of the Sovereignty and Independence of the States, is being born, leaving behind the Unipolar Dominance. Nicaragua supports Multilateralism and the New Multipolar Order, overcoming unilateralism. In this direction we strengthen Peace, Security, Stability and friendly relations, solidarity and respect for the Independence and Sovereignty of all States, Conveying to all of You the cordial greetings of Comrade President Comandante Daniel Ortega Saavedra and Comrade Vice President Rosario Murillo.
The motto of this meeting between Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Latin America and the Caribbean and the European Union: “Renewing the Bi-regional Association to Strengthen Peace and Unity” with the purpose of re-launching and recovering the exchange and cooperation between our regions, must be based on principles and values that are inherent to the Peoples.
We must repeat it until there is a clear understanding and awareness that we are no longer colonies, but Free and Sovereign Nations, we are Free People, not slaves, capable of tracing our own Policies, Strategies and Paths of Peace, Prosperity and Good Living, without interference, aggression, or interventions by hegemonic powers. That is the foundation for a fruitful exchange between our regions. A respectful cooperation of the Self-determination of the Peoples is at the core of the good relations of friendship, solidarity and cooperation between Peoples and Sovereign States of both Regions. Therefore, colonialist practices no longer have a place, and we call upon the European Union to demand an end to the occupation of the Argentine territory of Las Malvinas, which continues to be occupied by the British Empire by force of arms.
The Development and Progress of our Countries and Peoples is hampered by poverty, the economic and environmental crisis, as well as by the energy, inflationary and global food crisis, caused by the coercive, unilateral measures imposed against the Russian Federation, China, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Cuba, Venezuela, Iran, Syria, Nicaragua and other brotherly countries; measures that affect the States, preventing us from achieving our goals of fighting poverty, obstructing the Right to Development of our Peoples and the Objectives of 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda. Such arbitrary unilateral measures must end.
Latin America and the Caribbean is a highly vulnerable region to the effects of climate change, particularly the small island developing states and the low-lying coastal areas of the Caribbean and Central America, so it is urgent and necessary for developed countries to fulfill their commitments to address Climate Change at the next COP27, to be held from 6TH to 8TH November in Egypt.
Nicaragua maintains the 4 declarations for COP27, which continue to be valid: 1. Climate Justice with Reparations, 2. The urgency of preserving Forests, 3. Losses and Damage as a compensation mechanism for highly vulnerable Countries, and 4. The recognition of Central America and the Caribbean as a Region vulnerable to the impacts of Climate Change.
That is the great challenge that Humanity faces, that is the great challenge that we have to address to achieve Peace, to defeat hunger and poverty, to defend the Principles of Justice, of Freedom. To save Life, it is essential to save the Planet.
