MANAGUA – NICARAGUA / La Copresidenta de Nicaragua, Compañera Rosario Murillo, dio su declaración después del acto de entrega de buses provenientes de la República Popular China en Managua, el sábado 24 de mayo en en conmemoración del 46 aniversario del paso a la inmortalidad del Héroe Nacional Comandante Germán Pomares Ordóñez, conocido como «El Danto», uno de los fundadores del Frente Sandinista de Liberación Nacional (FSLN).
A continuación, palabra íntegra de la Compañera Rosario Murillo en versión español:
Buenas noches, Compañero. Como siempre, estos recorridos intensos, conmovedores, fuertes y vencedores.
Nuestro Comandante Daniel, hoy que estamos conmemorando al Comandante Germán Pomares Ordoñez y a los Héroes de Mayo, y a nuestro General Sandino; nos hizo este recorrido intenso por la Memoria, por la Historia y en la Gloria de este Pueblo nuestro. Porque nosotros sabemos que quisieron destruirnos en el 2018, y como decía el Comandante Daniel, no estábamos preparados; de verdad pensábamos que vivíamos la Paz, la Paz de Cristo Jesús y la Paz que nuestro Pueblo merecía.
Pero bueno, llegaron los demonios y quisieron derrotarnos, y No Pudieron, No Podrán, gracias a la Fuerza del Pueblo nicaragüense. Ahí estuvimos todos pendientes, sabiendo que íbamos a vencer, porque el Carácter, la Identidad y la Fortaleza del Pueblo nicaragüense és invencible.
Y yo creo sinceramente, que esos tiempos de odio fortalecieron en nosotros la Fé en el Amor, en el Amor y la Esperanza. Es que el odio no lleva nada, además, el odio de clase, porque eran los ricos queriendo aplastar al Pueblo, a los Pobres, a los Trabajadores, a los Luchadores. Ese odio no lleva a ninguna parte.
Se equivocaron totalmente, y cómo quedó Nicaragua después de ese intento de aniquilar el Amor, y sobre todo de aniquilar el Amor Cristiano. Porque cuando uno veía a supuestos Pastores promoviendo el odio, y cuando uno veía que ahí no había Espiritualidad alguna, uno sabía que el Amor está en el Corazón de los Creyentes, y en el Corazón de los Pobres.
Porque ya lo dijo Cristo Jesús, un pobre va a entrar en el Reino de los Cielos, y el Reino de los Cielos también aquí en la Tierra és la Justicia, la Verdad. Los ricos no pasan por el hoyo de una aguja. És así.
Y nosotros sabemos que nos fortaleció a todos la Fé en el Amor, la Certeza de que és con Amor que se construye y que se defiende la Paz, porque, precisamente, para nosotros los Cristianos el Amor és Paz.
Y cuando uno recuerda todos esos días borrascosos, terribles, terribles, porque era ver el rostro desfigurado de aquellos que habían simulado ser acompañantes en los Caminos hacia el Bienestar de los nicaragüenses, el rostro desfigurado por el odio, descompuesto, uno sabía que no eran ellos quienes iban a continuar en Caminos de Paz o de Lucha por el Bienestar.
No, no eran ellos, ahí la Historia nos demostró lo que ellos no querían mostrar, porque se escondían, se escamoteaban, unos y otros, los empresarios, los malvados, y también algunos Representantes de la Iglesia Católica, desgraciadamente. Porque nosotros somos Católicos, crecimos como Católicos, y era terrible ver ese rostro de quienes se proclamaban como Líderes de la Iglesia Católica.
Recuerdo que alguien preguntó : Bueno, y en esa segunda fase del Diálogo tendrían cabida los Señores Obispos ? El Comandante Daniel les contestó con mucha Sabiduría : Sí, claro, pero con la Oposición, no como dirigentes de un Proceso que tenía que llevarnos al Reencuentro y a la Paz. Con la Oposición, que había causado tanto daño, tanta muerte, tanto sufrimiento, tanta destrucción, por supuesto que no.
Y ahora que sabemos valorar, porque creo yo que también todos esos acontecimientos perversos nos sirvieron para valorar la Paz, para valorar nuestro Proceso Revolucionario, para valorarnos nosotros, como Pueblo Valiente, Heroico, el Pueblo de Sandino, el Pueblo de Darío. Valorar lo que tenemos y defenderlo.
Vamos Adelante ! Y el Comandante Daniel decía, estamos mejor… Estamos mejor, estamos más Fuertes, estamos más claros además, de quién es quién, y estamos seguros de que tenemos la capacidad de Alma, porque hay que tener Alma para defender la Paz y la Justicia, las Verdades Verdaderas.
Así que, ya vamos 46, Siempre 19, y vamos a celebrarnos, un Pueblo Grande, Heroico, Victorioso, y sobre todo un Pueblo que ama la Paz, y que vive en Paz, y que sabe, porque sabemos que és desde la Paz que estamos construyendo el Porvenir.
La Paz que és Justicia, la Paz que és Verdad, Verdades Verdaderas, y la Paz que és lo que nos garantiza el Futuro, ese Futuro de Derechos. Porque la Educación és un Derecho, la Salud és un Derecho, el Transporte és un Derecho, las Carreteras son Derechos. Todo el Progreso és un Derecho, para salir de la infame y sacrílega Pobreza que nos impusieron.
Un abrazo a todas las Familias nicaragüenses, y un abrazo sobre todo a las Madres. Somos Luchadoras, somos Valientes, somos Aguerridas, Somos Amor y somos Paz !
Abrazos Grandes, Compañer@s, y a todas las Familias el deseo, pero sobre todo el Compromiso, de trabajar todos los días para tengamos más Paz y para que vayamos progresando desde el Trabajo, la Seguridad, la Estabilidad… Progresando y prosperando, como merecemos Tod@s. Gracias, que estemos bien.

Good evening Compañera. As always, another intense, moving, strong and victorious review of events.
With our Comandante Daniel, today we are commemorating Comandante Germán Pomares Ordoñez, along with the Heroes of May, and our General Sandino; Comandante Daniel made this intense exploration of the Memory, the History and the Glory of this our People. Because we know that they wanted to destroy us in 2018, and as Comandante Daniel said, we were not prepared; we really thought that we were living in Peace, the Peace of Christ Jesus and the Peace that our People deserved.
But well, the demons came and sought to defeat us, but They Could Not Prevail, Nor Will They, thanks to the Strength of the Nicaraguan People. All of us were there waiting, knowing we were going to overcome, because the Character, the Identity and the Strength of the Nicaraguan People is invincible.
And I sincerely believe that those times of hatred strengthened in us the Faith in Love, in Love and Hope. Since that kind of hatred offers nothing, besides, being a class hatred since it was the rich classes wanting to crush the People, the Poor, the Workers, the Combatants. And that kind of hatred leads nowhere.
They were totally wrong, but how was Nicaragua left after that attempt to annihilate Love, and above all to annihilate Christian Love… Because when one saw people supposed to be Pastors promoting hatred, and when one saw there was no Spirituality there, one knew that Love is in the Hearts of Believers, and in the Hearts of the Poor.
Because Christ Jesus already said it, a poor person will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, and the Kingdom of Heaven also here on Earth is Justice and Truth. While the rich don’t fit through the eye of a needle. That’s how it is.
And we know that our faith in Love strengthened us all, the Certainty that Peace is built and defended with Love, because, precisely, for us Christians Love is Peace.
And when one remembers all those stormy, horrible, terrible days, because that’s how it was to see the disfigured faces of those who had pretended to be comrades on the Ways to the Well-being of all Nicaraguans, those faces disfigured by hatred, decomposed, one knew they were not the ones who were going to continue on Paths of Peace or the Struggle for Well-being.
No, it wasn’t them, there history showed us what they had wanted to hide, because they were indeed hiding, concealing, some among others, the business people, the evil minded ones, and also some representatives of the Catholic Church, unfortunately. Because we are Catholics, those of us who grew up as Catholics, and it was terrible to see the real faces of those who proclaimed themselves as Leaders of the Catholic Church.
I remember that someone asked: Well, and in the second phase of the Dialogue should the Bishops have a place? Comandante Daniel answered them very wisely: Yes, of course, but with the Opposition, not as leaders of a Process that must to lead us to Reunion and Peace. But with the Opposition, which caused so much damage, so much death, so much suffering, so much destruction, of course.
And now we know what and how to value, because I believe all those perverse events also served to help us value Peace, to value our Revolutionary Process, to value ourselves, as a Brave, Heroic People, the People of Sandino, the People of Darío. Valuing what we have and defending it.
Let’s Go Onward! And as Comandante Daniel was saying, we are better off now… We are better, we are stronger, we are clearer, besides, about who is who, and we are sure that we have the greatness of Soul, because it is necessary to have such a Soul to defend Peace, Justice and True Truths.
So, we are now 46, For ever 19, and we are going to celebrate one other, as a Great, Heroic, Victorious People, and above all a People who love Peace, who live in Peace, and who know, because do we know for sure that it is with Peace that we are building the Future.
The Peace that is Justice, the Peace that is Truth, True Truths, and the Peace that guarantees us our Future, that Future of Rights. Because Education is a Right, Health Care is a Right, Public Transport is a Right, Highways are Rights. All progress is a Right, to emerge from the infamous, sacrilegious poverty that was imposed on us.
An embrace to all Nicaragua’s families, and a special embrace to all Mothers. We are Combative, we are Valiant, we are Brave, We are Love and we are Peace!
